SHAG 2018 Results!

SHAG 2018 is in the books—with fifteen registered and twelve at the start—this year’s race had a wider participation than recent years. Thank you racers!

Thank you Nancy and Brad Davies for volunteering on RC and hosting the RC on Lark. Thank you again to Wilter Monteiro, who has volunteered on RC for the past year!

The day started out with rain, as predicted. But it dried up as the committee left the dock. Winds were shifty at the start, leading into a reach to the Kits Barge Buoy. Boats continued downwind until Jericho, where a westerly transition carried the fleet to the Point Grey Bell Buoy. The westerly filled in and remained, bringing everyone to the finish. Thankfully the rain held off until the RC was headed back to the club.
