2020 – 2021 Polar Bear NOR Amendment #1 Posted
The 2020 – 2021 Polar Bear Series NOR has been amended, as specified in the Amendment #1 document: https://vrcracing.ca/wp-content/uploads/PolarBear_NORA1_2020-2021.pdf
- Winter Series dates have been corrected to reflect that they occur in 2021 rather than 2020.
- The Polar Bear Race Committee will be presenting the daily results on a Facebook Live Stream following racing. North Sails “door” prizes will be awarded by a draw of recipients selected from Facebook Live attendees present during each Facebook Live event. Results will be posted on this website following the presentation.
- 7.1(b)(iii) is reworded to more clearly represent its physical distancing intent: Boats that frequently and aggressively cannot keep their crew at least 2 metres away from other crews while afloat will be requested to stop participating in the series.
- Boats are no longer required to collect signed Attachment A pages from each crew member, but they should ensure that crew members understand COVID-related risks and abide by the series safety rules while afloat.
